1
Consider using nicknames on notes that you pass. By not using real names, you can disguise who is involved with the note passing, so if the teacher (or another student) intercepts the note, they won't know for sure who's passing notes.
-
2
Use a small piece of paper for your notes. The bigger the paper, the more likely your teacher will see the note. Small papers used for passing notes will decrease your chances of your teacher noticing the note.

3
Fold the note as small as possible. Doing so will make sure that you can hide the note in your hand during passing and will make it harder for your teacher to see.
-
4
Watch the teacher so you know when you should pass the note. Good times to pass a note in class include when the teacher has her back to the students or when the teacher has stepped out of the classroom for a moment. You can also try passing a note in class when the teacher is focused on something, someone else or when the teacher is otherwise distracted. Try to pass a note in class when it is the most unlikely that the teacher will catch you.

5
Pass the note discreetly. You can let the note drop gently on the other's person's desk. You can casually drop the note into the other person's purse or backpack. You may even try passing a note with your feet or use a sticky note.

Tips & Warnings
You may find it easier to pass notes from front to back and back to front than from side to side. Side to side passing of notes usually looks more obvious.
Never use note passing to cheat on a test or a quiz.
