Drink by Character-Based Events
Step1
Drink once when Sarah exclaims, "You have no power over me," "It's not fair," whines, gets cocky, looks worried, meets a useless creature, or takes something for granted. Also drink once when Jareth makes an impressive entrance, changes costume, twirls his crystal balls, makes a veiled threat, bursts into song or gloats.
Step2
Take a drink whenever Hoggle grovels, grumbles, switches loyalties, pities himself or lies to protect himself. Also drink once when Ludo summons his rocks or acts like a stuffed animal, Didymus acts knightly or attacks something out of his league, Ambrosius gets scared, or Toby makes a cute baby sound.
Step3
Sip twice when Jareth is dressed all in white, displays an emotion other than anger, sings about something other than Sarah or doesn't get Hoggle's name wrong. Also sip twice when Sarah does something clever on her own, Hoggle displays selflessness, Ludo forms a complete sentence, Didymus admits he's met his match or impersonates the Lone Ranger, or Toby says "Dada"--then burps.
Drink by Random Events
Step1
Take a drink whenever a clock appears out of nowhere or a goblin speaks intelligently.
Step2
Drink twice when a clock appears with only twelve hours on its face, you spot misplaced milk bottles or a character from the Labyrinth appears in Sarah's room.
Step3
Sip twice when a random character says, "Things aren't always what they seem in this place" or "Your Mama's a friggin' aardvark."
