For some reason children have an innate ability and talent when it comes to knowing how to pop a juice box. However, for the more mature crowd, this talent is not so natural, and it takes some practice.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Ask a child to give you a juice box. For the older crowd who are unfamiliar with juice boxes, they are just as the name implies, juice in a box.
Step2
Empty the juice box. Here’s where you must solicit the aid of a child. Children love the tastes of the juice that comes from a juice box. Adults, on the other hand, are not as fond of the extremely sweet liquid contents of the box.
Step3
Remove the straw from the juice box. In order to truly pop a juice box, the straw must go. Save it for the next juice box you encounter.
Step4
Un-crush the juice box and fill it with air. As silly as it sounds, it’s a necessary step. Children have an uncanny habit of crushing juice boxes as they drink from them. Straighten out the box to its pre-crushed condition and ensure it has nothing but air in it.
Step5
Plug the hole in the box. You have two options. Experienced children can avoid this step. They don’t need to plug the hole because they know how to pop a juice box without doing this. However, the more mature juice box popper doesn’t have a child’s know-how and should plug the hole to ensure the juice box pops properly.
Step6
Place the juice box on the floor and stomp on it to enjoy the popping sound. Don’t stomp too hard. You don’t want to hurt yourself.

Tips & Warnings

  • It’s best to pop your juice box outside. That way you won’t have to clean up any juice remnant.
