How to Mega Ollie on a Tech Deck

If you already know how to ollie on a Tech Deck, you don't have far to go to learn the mega ollie on the Tech Deck. The mega ollie is more dramatic and used for more types of stunts than the simple ollie. You can improve your skills and tricks once you perfect the mega ollie on the Tech Deck.

Things You’ll Need:

• Tech Deck fingerboard

1. Remember the basics of the ollie. Put your index finger on the logo in the middle and your middle finger on the tail of the board.
2. Pop the board while you lift both fingers. Level out the front of the board with the index finger as you slide the foot forward and apply a small amount of pressure to land the ollie.
3. Create a big lift. When you do a mega ollie, you need to pop the Tech Deck hard and high. The extra lift is the difference between the normal ollie and the mega ollie. Delay the shift and pressure of the index finger to get more height from the ollie.
4. Use the mega ollie when you want to do 180's and 360's in the air or you want to jump long or large obstacles. The higher the ollie and the more glide, the better.
5. Practice the ollie until the height is at its maximum, and then try to get it higher and push out farther with the index finger as you level.
