How to Create a PDF Document From IE Using Solid Print Software

Use Solid Print software to easily create a PDF file from your Internet Explorer (IE) program. Solid Print software is a consumer product available online from the Solid Documents website. Choose from different properties when creating the PDF document, such as author, title, security settings, page layout and magnification layout.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

1. Purchase and install the Solid Print software from the Solid Documents website.
2. Open the Internet Explorer web page you wish to turn into the PDF file. Navigate to "File," and then choose "Print."
3. Choose "Solid PDF Creator" as your printer option. Click "OK." This opens the "Create PDF" window.
4. Assign a place to save your PDF file with "Save In" and choose a "File Name" and "Save As Type" for your PDF file.
5. Select the saving options you want for your PDF file. The options are Document Information, Security Settings, Define A View and Optimization.
6. Check the "Prompt For Document Properties " check box. The default settings are applied if this check box is left unchecked.
7. Enter the check on the "Open Converted File After Completion" check box. This opens the file immediately after it's created by the Solid Print software.
8. Click the "Create" button. Complete the appropriate information when the Properties dialog box appears. The progress of the conversion is shown until the process is complete.
