How to Make an Eggnog Martini
The first martini was created around 1862. Since then dozens of variations have been passed over the bar. An Eggnog Martini is the perfect combination of the classic cocktail and traditional holiday eggnog. The creamy concoction is totally appetizing in an elegant martini glass with a sprinkle of nutmeg or cinnamon floating on top. Stir up this holiday favorite by the pitcher for your next party. Frost the martini classes. Dip each one in clear, cool water and place in the freezer for 30 minutes.

Chill the vodka and amaretto in the freezer. Make sure the eggnog is very cold.

Place a handful of ice cubes in a shaker. Measure the eggnog, amaretto and vodka and add to the shaker.

Cover the shaker securely. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds.

Vary the recipe by adding a splash of cinnamon schnapps instead of ground cinnamon. Add the schnapps to the shaker.

Strain the martini into frosted or chilled glasses. Garnish with cinnamon or nutmeg and add a few dark chocolate shavings. Add a sprig of mint a special holiday touch. Serve immediately.
