Step 1
Use a shampoo and conditioner to help you control frizz and get straight hair. You can purchase shampoos and conditioners specifically formulated to tame frizz, create sleek and smooth hair or to make hair straight.
-
Step 2
Blow-dry your hair with a round hairbrush to help make hair straight and non-frizzy. Look for aceramic, ionic or tourmaline hairdryer at any beauty supply store. These types of hairdryers control frizz and are less damaging to hair during the drying process.
-
Step 3
Separate your hair into sections and roll each section of hair around a hairbrush that is round. Pull the hair taut and blow the hot hair from the dryer down onto the hairbrush to create straight hair and tame frizz.
-
Step 4
Flat-iron your hair to make it straight and control frizz. Ceramic, tourmaline or ionic flat irons are all good choices. Iron small sections of your hair at a time to create straight hair and tame frizz.
-
Step 5
Apply specialty hair care products to your hair. Look for hair serums, hairsprays, mousse or styling gel that handle frizzy hair and help make your locks more manageable.
