1. Get hold of your spouse's cell phone when she is not looking. Make sure that you have enough time to browse throughout the phone looking for unfamiliar numbers, text messages, and voice mail.

2. Pay careful attention to your finances and your credit card statements. If your spouse is cheating, you may notice purchases that you were not aware of. Look for restaurant purchases, jewelry, or hotel room charges.

3. Follow your spouse to work. Take the day off from work and just sit outside of his office and look for him leaving at lunchtime or early from work. Be sure to use a rental car or a friend's car so that he doesn't notice you. Follow him when he leaves work.

4. Take note if your spouse has frequent mood swings. Many times people in affairs who are leading double lives are very edgy around their spouses and they could blow up at any time. Document your spouse's behavior over a two week span.
