Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Lime
  • Vegetable peeler
  • Cocktail stirrer
  • Cutting board
  • Knife
  • Lemon
  • Spoon
  • Celery
  • Cocktail skewers
  • Green olives
  • Large cooked shrimp
  • Orange
  1. Step 1

Place a lime on your cutting board and cut the lime in half cross-wise, put the halves face down and cut each half into quarters. Rub a lime section around the rim of your glass. Garnish the cocktail by tossing the section in after a quick squeeze into the glass.

  2. Step 2

Create lemon twists to professionally garnish many of your cocktails. Cut off both ends of the lemon and remove the fruit from the rind by scooping it out with a spoon. Finish by cutting the rind into quarter inch strips which you can then rub around the rim of your cocktail glasses. Twist your garnish over the glass to squeeze the juice into the drink then drop the twist into the cocktail.

  3. Step 3

Cut the bottom off of a celery bunch and rinse and dry each stalk to remove all dirt and sand. Keep leaves attached and cut each stalk in half lengthwise at an angle. Put the celery stalks in each Bloody Mary glass along with a skewer of green olives and a large cooked shrimp to create Bloody Mary's that look professionally garnished.

  4. Step 4

Make an orange spiral by using your vegetable peeler to peel the skin off an orange into a strip roughly 6 inches long and no wider than ½ inch. Wrap the peel around a cocktail stirrer and hold it there for a few seconds. Let it slide off the stirrer into your drink and you have created another impressive garnish.

Tips & Warnings
  • Preserve the freshness of cut fruit by covering with a damp napkin or keep in a container with a lid.
