How to Look Like an Abercrombie Model

Abercrombie and Fitch models have so defined the modern body aesthetic that they've emerged as mini-celebrities in their own right. While you may have the impression that "they're just born with it," Abercrombie models work hard to look the way they do.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Step1
Get your body fat down to Abercrombie levels of lower than 10 percent for men and lower than 15 percent for women. The focus of "Abercrombie diet" should be calorie cutting and carb-deficits, if you want to do it the quick way, or a healthy, carefully regimented protein-rich diet if you want to take some more time but keep more muscle on your body.
Step2
Remove all visible body hair and tan often at professional tanning salons so you get a nice even tan that looks like it came from the sun. Guys should grow out a little stubble at most while the ladies should make sure everything is waxed and even arm hair is bleached.
Step3
Tailor your workout so that you accentuate the "vanity" muscles which are the shoulders, biceps and chest, for men. Guys should be willing to develop some muscle imbalances (large front and top, smaller back and lower body) while girls should be training in calisthenics and other exercise that doesn't promote muscle growth.
Step4
Appear shirtless or at least scantily clad at every opportunity. When you disrobe, make sure that you do something fun-looking like jump into a pool or toss a football around. Also, very importantly, the more Abercrombie model-looking people you associate with, the more you'll look like an Abercrombie model.

Tips & Warnings

  • Keep in mind that to get the cut look of an Abercrombie model you need to factor in water retention (sub-cutaneous water) that can be shed with a heavy cardio workout before you appear in your Abercrombie-like pose.
