Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Put on comfortable dance clothes. Try to wear something light and stretchy. Skirts and loose pants or a leotard are both good choices when doing the bow stretch dance. Pull your hair back from your face with a ponytail holder.

  2. Step 2

Use a chair to balance yourself. You won't always need the chair once you perfect the bow stretch, but it is good to start practicing with one so you can acquire balance.

  3. Step 3

Lift your right leg up, with a bended knee out to the side, and hook your right arm underneath. Grab your leg under your knee cap. Pull it up towards your chest carefully. Keep your left hand on the chair to help you balance.

  4. Step 4

Start to turn your leg backwards and keep it steady in the air. Turn your body slightly to the right while keeping your left hand on the chair. If you feel balanced, you can raise your arm up in the air to maintain this balance.

  5. Step 5

Stretch your leg back as far as you can and make sure it is stretching upwards. Keep steady, and hold this bow stretch dance move for about 10 seconds.
