Learn to do a double frontflip on a trampoline only after you are completely comfortable with your single frontflip. It's a good idea to have someone with you to spot for you, warn you if you're getting too close to the edge and help when needed.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Do a double frontflip on a trampoline by first jumping from the balls of your feet until you reach a good height. You must get high enough so that you have time to complete the double rotation. Your first frontflip must be completed before you reach the highest point of your jump, or you won't have time for a double.

  2. Step 2

Keep your body as vertical and stiff as you can when you start jumping. Reach your arms out above your head, stretching your hands to the sky. Give a quick hop with your feet flat just before you begin the first frontflip.

  3. Step 3

Grab your knees with your hands and pull them to your chest to begin the first rotation when you do a double frontflip on a trampoline. Tuck your chin towards your chest at the same time and thrust your body forward in the tucked position.

  4. Step 4

Allow your body to rotate the second frontflip as you keep your body tightly tucked. Then, stop the rotation by lifting your arms straight out and straightening your legs for the landing.

Tips & Warnings
  • Place mats in a high pile on the floor around the edge of the trampoline while you are learning to do a double frontflip on a trampoline.
  • Start your jumping at one side of the trampoline, facing the center, to give yourself plenty of room. This helps to prevent falls.
