The obsession of the "Halo" video game reach even higher levels with Halo clans, where players link and team up to take on other groups directly in competition. If you've taken out all your friends in your 16-player deathmatches, maybe the time has come to step up and join a clan.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate
Step1
Know everything possible about Halo and be really good at playing it. No clan will want someone they'll have to train and could possibly mess up their game up.
Step2
Find places you can meet other clan members, get to know them and show your talent. This can include tournaments, matchmade games and online fan forums.
Step3
Learn everything you can about the clan you wish to join. You especially need to know the clan rules and etiquette. You won't last long if you don't follow their guidelines.
Step4
Participate in a clan tryout. They will want you to prove that your Halo skills are the right level for your group. You will need to have your "A" game for this.
Step5
Accept your role in the clan. You'll probably start out as a Peon, meaning you'll just play. You could some day advance to Member or Staff, but for now, you won't have to worry about responsibilities like recruiting.
Step6
Get all needed information about the clan. This will include the clan forum web address, contact info for the Overlord and other important members, and the scheduled times when the clan plays.

Tips & Warnings

  • Of course, you will need to have Xbox Live in order to join a clan. You can't take part in a clan if you don't have the means to link up with the other players for games.
