Step 2
Add images or video. You will be prompted to add them as soon as you create a new slideshow. Locate the folder with your images and click open. You can add additional media by clicking on empty slides.
-
Step 3
Add effects, music and voiceovers. The "Slideshow" window has buttons to add digital sound files, text, and even to record new audio. You can also edit the slide duration and transition effects.
-
Step 4
Build your DVD menu in the "Menu" tab. Choose a menu theme from one of the preset templates, download additional templates from the web, or click on the "Custom…" button to create your own menu settings.
-
Step 5
Preview your DVD in "Preview" tab. Make sure the sound files play back and the navigation links work correctly.

Step 6
Burn your iPod movie in the "Create" tab. Select "Mp4 Movie (iPod)" as your output format. The default output settings should be sufficient. However, you can use the "Options" button to lower the file size with the quality and frame rate settings.
-
Step 7
Share your movie with your friends. They can download it to their iPods or watch on their computers with any program that plays Mp4 movies.
