How to Go Beer Fishing

If you are looking for a way to entertain your friends at a party, beer fishing is the perfect way to do so. This practical joke is safe, fun and can give you something to do for several hours.

Things You’ll Need:

• Cane fishing pole
• Clear nylon fishing string
• Unopened can of beer

1. Gather the materials that you will need for beer fishing. A beer fishing trip will not be complete without the proper materials.
2. Position yourself on a second floor balcony, roof of a house or in a large second floor window. If you can't be two floors up, make sure you are above ground level and not easily seen.
3. Put the string on the fishing pole as if you were going fishing. Secure the can of beer on the end of the string by wrapping the nylon around the can a couple of times and through the tab on the can.
4. Toss the can carefully to ground level and to an obvious place like a park bench or a sidewalk. This area you choose should be heavily traveled.
5. Watch for the human fish to approach the bait. As soon as he or she reaches for it, move it away from them.
6. Continue this activity until the fish realizes that they are the butt of a practical joke and move away from the area.
7. Target the next fish and continue with the fun. Try in different locations each time.
