Beating the winter blues can be easy when you take the time to vacation at an indoor water park. By taking your family to an indoor water park, you can leave behind the cold, the snow, and the dreary days that often lead to depressed feelings. Find an indoor water park near your locality and book a weekend full of waves, water, and whirlpools.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Search for an indoor water park that is closest to you. You can go online and visit the website, indoorwaterparks.net to locate the closest indoor water park in your state.

  2. Step 2

Book your long weekend at an indoor water park. Ask about special discounts and be sure to find out if the cost includes the price of the hotel stay and the indoor water park admission.

  3. Step 3

Pack appropriate clothing for the indoor and outdoor weather at the indoor water park. Indoors, you will want to pack lightly for summer weather, but if you plan on touring the area beyond the water park, you will want to pack for the colder weather.

  4. Step 4

Tour the indoor water park and find any restaurants, arcades, and fireplaces that are inside of the lodge. Take note of special spots that you will want to visit later with your family. After a few hours in the pools, it is always nice to sit and relax by a cozy fireplace.

  5. Step 5

Take some time to relax at the indoor water park and enjoy your family's company. Sit in the hot tub and get reacquainted with your spouse or loved ones. Go buzzing down the waterslides with your children and create lasting memories.
