How to Kill Players as a Nonmember or Newbie RuneScape Player

RuneScape is a medieval-era based multi-player role playing game. It is free to play online but paying members get more abilities than non-paying members. Killing players in RuneScape as a newbie or non-paying member can be easy if you know what to do.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

• RuneScape account

1. Go through the beginning tutorial as quickly as possible. Be sure to get the runes before you leave.
2. Find the witches' potion quest and finish it. This unlocks your ability to cast the confuse spell.
3. Complete more quests until you have 2,000 gold pieces. The first level of the stronghold of security gives you a large amount of gold pieces.
4. Find a merchant and buy an earth staff, body and water runes. You have more than enough to purchase your gear with 2,000 gold pieces.
5. Travel into the Varlock sewers and confuse the rats and spiders. Keep casting spells on them. This raises your magic level. Turn off the auto retaliate to use the magic. Continue to kill them until you unlock the curse spell.
6. Use the curse spell on small creatures until you receive enough magic points to receive a low level alchemy spell.
7. Sell your earth staff and buy a fire staff, fire runes and nature runes. Use the alchemy spell until you receive a fire bolt.
8. Cast the fire bolt at players during battle to kill them. Open the fighting screen and turn off auto retaliate. Click to open your spells screen and click on a fire bolt. The fire bolt is a deadly spell that kills quickly.

Tips & Warnings

• Use the money you receive from defeated players to buy robes, amulets and other magical trinkets.
• If you move through the quest quickly it takes about one hour to get the fire bolt.
