1
Decide on the Infiniti car year and model that you're most interested by breaking the selection down to discontinued and current models and into the various types of car such as luxury sedan and SUV. Look at flagship models for each category such as the M30, which was rated one of the safest cars of the 1990s, the Q45, Infiniti's flagship luxury sedan, and the new EX35, which is Infiniti's take on an SUV.

2
Take a look at the Infiniti G35 to get a good understanding of what Infiniti is all about since the G35 is considered the best example of the luxury car. In addition to winning Motor Trend's Car of the Year in 2003, the Infiniti G35 boasts near-perfect forward and rear weight distribution, has a solid safety record and retains much of its value, making it an excellent buy.

Check out Infiniti's crossover sport utility vehicles, which compete with cars like Porsche's Cayenne and Volvo's XC90 but often come in at significantly lower prices.
-
4
Try to find an Infiniti under warranty if you buy used or consider buying the extended warranty if you go new since Infinitis require a little bit more skill to service, making maintenance and repairs slightly more expensive.
-
5
Think about waiting for the Infiniti hybrid models which are expected to roll off assembly lines soon and will offer improved fuel efficiency, making it worthwhile to wait before you buy.
-
6
Consider the cost of insuring an Infiniti, especially new models, since many of the brand's models are classed as "luxury sports cars," and therefore fall into a more expensive insurance category.
