How to Get a Banshee into the Boss at the End of Halo 2

Halo 2 arrived with a bang, just as its predecessor did, and it did not disappoint. It has great weapons, great multiplayer action, new controls and the opportunity to run about with a turret. Some people say it’s one of the best Xbox games ever. However, just suppose you're a little tired of all the fighting at the end of Halo 2. No problem. Take your banshee into the boss fight at the end and skip a little action. You're entitled. Just remember: the fate of Earth is in your hands.

Instructions

1. Stay in your banshee at the final level when you are playing Halo 2. Give your support to your ally by firing your weapons, but don’t leave the vehicle. If the enemy attacks and you have to respawn, get back into the banshee and try to survive a little longer.

2. Watch for the door to blow during this battle.

3. Shoot your banshee through the blown door and fly past the control center building on the right. Continue aiming for the bottom right of the screen. You should see a navigation point on the lower right. If you do this correctly, a white screen will appear—the sign of a cut scene.

4. Get ready to fight the boss sequence at the end of Halo 2, without all the messy fighting that usually comes before this moment. You have managed to get your banshee into the boss sequence at the end of Halo 2. The only down side is that because you missed the preceding battle, you’ve lost the opportunity to pick up a fuel rod canon, and will have to fight the battle with the boss without it.
