How to Install a Game With Bin or Cue Files Using Daemon Tools

Daemon Tools is a powerful and free optical disc emulator. It handles a range of image files and can emulate up to four different drives at once. Because of how fast these emulated drives work, Daemon Tools is ideal for watching movies, playing games and listening to CDs that you've ripped to your hard drive.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Download and install Daemon Tools if you already haven't. It's free and comes in a relatively small installation file, so this won't take long.
Step2
Launch Daemon Tools. Unless you've disabled automatic startup, the program will be running in your system tray.
Step3
Right-click the Daemon Tools system tray icon.
Step4
Mouse over the "Virtual CD/DVD-ROM" menu. Then, select the number of virtual drives you want to create from the "Set number of devices" menu. One's fine, unless you're going to run multiple images simultaneously.
Step5
Click the system tray icon again, then click on the name of the virtual drive Daemon Tools created.
Step6
Search your hard drive for the CUE file of the game you want to install. When you've found it, click on it and select "Open."
Step7
Give the Windows Auto-Run feature a few seconds to recognize the mounted image. If nothing happens, open "My Computer" and run the image by double-clicking the virtual drive's icon.
Step8
Follow the instructions the disc's setup wizard provided to install the game.
