Wondershare was established in 2003 and provides users with the ability to convert PowerPoint presentations into Flash files. This makes it easier to publish on the Internet. Flash files are compressed, so they use less space to store than PowerPoint presentations.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Download Wondershare PPT2Flash software.
Step1
Open the PowerPoint program and then click "Open" in the "File" menu. Select the file you want to convert to Flash. Look at the Menu bar in PowerPoint. Wondershare PPT2Flash automatically appears.
Step2
Go to "Publish" in the "File" menu. A window appears with the publishing settings. Choose your "Frames per second" in this window. For most presentations, 12 frames per second is the optimal setting. You can also password protect your presentation in this window. Click "OK" when you are done. Another window appears that reads "Publish your presentation as an SWF or Flash file."
Step3
Type the title into the "Title" box in the next window that pops up. Select a location for your file to save to and choose the "Output Type." Select "Separate SWF files" if you would like to edit the PowerPoint in Flash.
Step4
Click "Convert" to convert the file to Flash.
Step5
Add advanced features. Add audio or narration to a specific slide or to the whole movie by clicking on the "Audio" tab. When finished, close the "Audio" window. Your file saves in the designated location.
