How to Download Clip Art in Publisher


If you are looking for some unique clip art to use in your Microsoft Publisher 2007 document, then you can download that clip art from "Microsoft Office Online." There is a wide selection of clip art at the website that can easily be downloaded and used in your Publisher document.

Things You'll Need

  • Microsoft Publisher 2007
  • Open Microsoft Publisher 2007 by double-clicking on the program icon or choosing it from the Start menu. Once Publisher is open, start a new document or open an existing file to which you would like to insert clip art into.

  • Select the "Insert" menu from the top of the Publisher window, point to the word "Picture" and click "Clip Art" from the submenu to open the "Clip Art" task pane. The "Clip Art" task pane will open up on the left side of the Publisher screen.

  • Click "Clip Art on Office Online" at the bottom of the "Clip Art" task pane. The clip art page at "Microsoft Office Online" will open into your Internet browser.

  • Use the "Clip art" search box at the top of the screen to type in keywords for the clip art you want to download. Click the "Search" button to find clip art that matches your keywords on the website. Click to add a check mark in the check box under each clip art image that you would like to download into Publisher.

  • Highlight and click on the "Download X item" link in the blue strip at the top of the displayed clip art images. The "X" stands for the number of items you have checked. Read the "Microsoft Service Agreement" on the next page and click the "Accept" button to begin your download.

  • Complete the download request by clicking on "Download Now" from the next screen. You will then be able to download the selected clip art and use them in your Publisher document.
