Copying files to a memory stick is similar to saving them on your computer, except in this case, you are saving the file to a device other than your hard drive. Copy MS Calendar to memory stick if you need to access your calendar from a different computer.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Memory stick with enough space

Step1
Check the size of your MS Calendar file. First open MS Calendar and find the file. The size of your file is denoted by megabytes (MB) or kilobytes (KB).
Step2
Plug your memory stick into a USB port on the computer. Determine if the memory stick has enough space to accommodate MS Calendar. If the MS Calendar file is smaller than the amount of available space on the memory stick, move on to Step 4 . If the stick requires more space than what is available on the memory stick continue to Step 3.
Step3
Make space on your memory stick. When the MS Calendar file requires more space than what is currently available on your memory stick, you must delete some of the existing files from your memory stick.
Step4
Highlight the "Send To" option. Once you highlight this option you should see your memory stick drive, usually "Drive F." Click on the designated memory stick drive to copy the file.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can also right click the MS Calendar and click "Copy" and then paste it into your designated memory stick drive.
  • Keep a copy on your computer. Memory sticks are small and more susceptible to being lost. Keep a copy of your MS Calendar on your computer so you don't lose any of your information.
