How to Create a Bret the Hitman Hart Costume

Canadian Bret "The Hitman" Hart is one of 12 children of wrestling legend Stu Hart. Bret joined the WWF in 1984 and went on to become one of the greatest professional wrestlers in the history of the sport. He left wrestling in 1997. In 2002, Hart suffered a stroke from which he is today recovered. He serves as a spokesperson for Stroke Recovery Canada, a March of Dimes program.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Grow long, shoulder-length hair or purchase a wig. Forgo salon treatments, a good cut and regular shampooing.

  2. Step 2

    Wear a black wrestling tank top with the pink heart logo on the left chest. Add hot pink spandex pants with a black and white stripe up both sides.

  3. Step 3

    Sew on the letters H-I-T-M-A-N vertically on the side of each leg. Decorate the pants with a row of black heart appliqués around the right thigh.

  4. Step 4

    Choose a fitted pink wrestling tank top trimmed in black. Add black spandex pants with pink "flames" up both sides. Add a hot pink satin cummerbund. Finish with pink wristbands, black knee pads and elbow pads, and a WWF championship belt.

  5. Step 5

    Pair a black tank top with pink wrestling pants. Print the winged skull logo on the front of the tank. Decorate the pants with black and white flames up the sides of both legs.

  6. Step 6

    Add a row of four white hearts down the front of the right thigh and include built-in knee pads. Wear pink wristbands and black elbow pads.

  7. Step 7

    Finish off any ensemble with wraparound sunglasses. Wear white wrestling boots trimmed in pink and black with a single pink star outlined in black on each one.

  8. Step 8

    Go casual in a tee shirt and jeans. Add a plaid flannel shirts. Wear sneakers or boots.
