How to Act Like a Tomboy

Once you have decided to act like a tomboy, there are many things you should take into consideration. Everything from your attitude, clothes and friends should change once you decide to be a tomboy. The following steps will guide you through the transformation into your new self.

Instructions

1. Hang out with guys more than your girl friends. You can still go shopping and hang out with your girl friends, but do not wear make-up and speak in a high pitched tone. Be sure you do not lose your girl friends because of your new behavior and personality.

2. Participate in as many athletic activities as possible. Most schools have track, basketball, softball and tennis for girls. Get involved. Make a name for yourself and be the best you can be at the sport.

3. Stay away from dresses and skirts. Try to wear more t-shirts and blue jeans and wear tennis shoes all the time. Also, try to wear your school athletic shirts and shorts whenever you can.

4. Appreciate your new status. Do not be ashamed of being a tomboy, be proud and act proud.

5. Watch boy movies (action flicks) and television shows (The Simpson's, Family Guy, etc) and start playing video games.

6. Observe how boys walk and talk. You will want to copy their behavior to fit in a little better. Use the language you hear them speak when talking with each other.

7. Participate in sports with the boys. If they are organizing to play basketball, football, or baseball, ask to play with them.
