Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Moisturizer
  • Foundation
  • Pink or peach blush
  • Pearl eye shadow
  • Liquid black eyeliner
  • Lash thickening mascara
  • Eyebrow powder or pencil
  • Nude, pink or peach lipstick
  • Clear lip gloss
  1. Step 1

Cleanse your face and apply moisturizer. Makeup applications go smoother when you work with a clean and moisturized canvas.

  2. Step 2

Apply foundation to your entire face. Nicole Richie's foundation never looks caked on so be sure to apply it lightly and blend completely.

  3. Step 3

Use a light pink or peach blush on your cheeks, since these are the colors Nicole Richie primarily uses. The exact shade depends on what color skin you have.

  4. Step 4

Apply pearl eye shadow. Nicole Richie uses neutral or nude pearl colors. Apply the lightest shade to the area from your eyelid to the crease. Apply a darker color to the crease area. Finish off with the lightest color in the brow bone area.

  5. Step 5

Accentuate your eyes. Nicole Richie uses a liquid black eyeliner that is applied to both the upper and lower lids. Apply enough coats of the liquid eyeliner to get to your desired line thickness.

  6. Step 6

Curl your lashes and apply two coats of black mascara to your upper and lower lashes. Nicole Richie prefers to use a lash thickening mascara. Use a powder or pencil, in a color that is one shade darker than your hair color, to define your eyebrows.

  7. Step 7

Finish with a lipstick in nude, pink or peach. Make sure to select a very light shade. Nicole Richie often uses a coat of sheer lip gloss after applying her lipstick to make her lips glisten.
