How to Wear Makeup Like Kimora Lee Simmons

At events, she is all about "fabulosity" with bold lip colors and dramatic eyes, while at home or at work, she is a bit more subtle in her makeup choices. 1. Apply a foundation that is closest to your skin color. Take a look at the various foundation colors available from KLS, Kimora Lee Simmons' makeup line. Kimora's skin always looks flawless, meaning she chooses the foundation that is closest to her natural skin tone and applies it (or has it applied) lightly to her face.
2. Sweep blush on your cheeks lightly. No matter if it's night or day, Kimora's blush is barely detectable because it blends into her skin tone. The colors she uses vary from warm peaches to bright pinks. If you have darker skin, go with St. Barth's Peach or Mojave Rose. For lighter skin tones, choose Coral Reef or Empress Pink.
3. Choose bright lip colors for the evening look. Kimora goes glam all the way for her evening look. Choose lip colors such as The Cosmopolitan or Raspberry Schnapps Fabulosity lip plumpers or the Gratifying Grape and Juicy Cherry Goddess glosses from her KLS line.

7. Go heavy on the mascara any time of day. Kimora's lashes always look long and lush. To get her look with your natural lashes, apply multiple coats of mascara. The trick to ensuring your lashes look long and lush like Kimora's is allowing your lashes to dry and using an eyelash separator between mascara coats.

Tips & Warnings

• If your natural eyelashes are scarce, buy fake lashes and apply them according to the manufacturer's directions.
• Be aware of your eyelid folds. Kimora is of Japanese heritage and doesn't have a fold on her eyelid. If you do, apply a single color of eyeshadow up to the bottom of your brow bone. Then use a highlighting color for the rest of the lid and brow bone. Applying a single color of shadow beyond your brow bone, like Kimora, will look clownish.
