Step 1
Tailor your own clothes. Victoria isn't afraid to pull out the scissors on her own outfits. She's admitted, "I like buying jumpers from Gap Kids and cutting them up because they're so fitted and can look really cool and 70s-inspired."
-
Step 2
Show some skin on top or bottom–but not at the same time. Victoria has been known to show-off her shoulders with an off-the-shoulder top and jeans on bottom, or liberate her legs in a short skirt paired with a sweater on top. Victoria says, "if you're revealing lots of cleavage, you should have your legs hidden. Or if you want to show some leg, wear a jumper dress on top."
-
Step 3
Go international. Victoria favors shops in Japan because the sizes are tinier and more fitted to her petite frame. She also loves the vintage shops in New York, not to mention Fashion Week in the Big Apple, where she's a front-row regular.
-
Step 4
Always wear sunglasses. Each time she steps out her front door, Victoria has a pair of shades on. She favors Dior sunglasses, although she's less enthusiastic about Dior's clothing line.
-
Step 5
Carry a designer bag. Whether it's Louis Vuitton or Hermes Birkin, Victoria is never without a purse. Sometimes she'll rock a brightly-colored bag that matches her outfit exactly, but most often, she chooses a soft, black leather bag which goes with everything.
-
Step 6
Wear loud lingerie. It's not unusual for Victoria to dress in a white tank top with a purple bra peaking out from underneath. She's confessed that she loves fluorescent bras, as "it's a great way to give something normal a bit of an edge."
-
Step 7
Keep your underwear on. "You won't catch me falling out of nightclubs with no knickers on," says Victoria, when asked about the many starlets who have infamous "crotch shot" photographs circulating on the Internet.
