Having a one-colored food night is a great way to start a new family tradition, celebrate an event, or just have fun. My youngest daughter helped inspire the foods for this celebration.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Blue foods
  • Optional: blue food coloring
  • Blue table cover
  • White plates, cups, utensils
  1. Step 1

Buy foods that are naturally blue, such as blueberries and blue corn tortilla chips.

  2. Step 2

Buy prepared blue foods such at Boo Berry cereal, blue finger jello (at your local deli, blue gum and blue raspberry candy.

  3. Step 3

Add blue food coloring to white chocolate melted in your microwave. Cover large marshmallows with it, and dry on waxed paper.

  4. Step 4

Add blue food coloring to a white cake mix, and white frosting. Make cupcakes, and top with blue cake sprinkles.

  5. Step 5

For drinks, buy blue Hawaiian Punch, blue Kool-Aid, or other drink mixes.

  6. Step 6

Serve Blue Moon ice cream or fresh blueberries.

  7. Step 7

Serve foods on white paper plates, with white napkins, paper cups, and utensils, on a blue table cover. The blue food will compliment the white plate, with the blue table cover underneath.

  8. Step 8

Make it even more fun and ask each guest or family member to wear blue clothing.
