If you are like most people out there, you have items that you want to sell because you don't use it anymore. Then to make matters worse EBAY has raised their fees. So why not sell for free.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1

Find the item that you want to sell and decide your price

Step2

Take some pictures and save them to your computer

Step3

Write a description in Word or something similar to word

Step4

Visit www.craigslist.com

Step5

Find your state and city of your choice and choose to add a classified.
Craigs list has no free for classified ads. They also have no fees for adding pictures or for once you sell the item.

on 5/12/2008 Thanks for the article. I live in the UK and I don't know how Craigslist works in the US but I just checked it out for my area and the content in the Liverpool area is very very poor indeed. It seems Craigslist is just an advertising opportunity. Unfortunately I don't think I'd manage to sell much on there.
