Broiled salmon can be a very flavorful and healthy dish for anyone and to top it off it's easy to make!

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • salmon fillet
  • baking sheet
  • foil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • breadcrumbs

Step1
Set oven to broil while you prepare the salmon fillet.
Step2
Place a piece of foil on the bottom of the baking sheet leaving the excess hanging over the edges. Positing the fillet in the center of the baking sheet.
Step3
Rub fillet evenly with oil and salt and pepper as you like to suit your taste.
Step4
Broil on upper rack until the fillet begins to brown. Usually about 9 to 12 minutes will do.
Step5
Remove from oven and add bread crumbs to the top of the fillet.
Step6
Place the salmon back in the oven on the lower rack and continue to broil for about 1 minute or until top is golden brown and crispy. Inside should be opaque and flaky at this point.
