How to Destroy a Diamond

The diamond is the world's strongest non-man-made substance. Everyone knows that it can only be cut by a laser, or, by another diamond. However, in this article I do not explain how to cut the diamond, but rather how to destroy it. The instructions are not really 'steps'on how to obliterate this precious gem, but rather different ideas on how to do so.

Things You’ll Need:

• A few diamonds that you do not want anymore
• Easy access to a volcano
• Easy access to the ozone layer
• Easy access to an atomic megaton bomb

1. Diamonds Search around your home or your local jewelry store for diamonds. When you find them, put them in your pocket and keep them there for easy access.
2. Active Volcano Find the quickest route to an active volcano. How you get there or how much it costs you to get there doesn't really matter, after all, it's about destroying the diamonds, not about you.
   
   Once you get to your volcano, toss as many of the diamonds as you want into the lava, and watch them disintegrate. However, keep in mind that you must save some diamods for the other projects.
3. Nuke Now that your diamonds burn from the hot gases gushing out of the lava pit, locate the nearest military arsenal that accomodates atomic bombs. When you find one, get there as soon as possible, you never know when our government will use them, and they might get to it before you! Anyway, let's get back to the subject. Once you acquire the atomic bomb, head over to Arizona, and see if you can find a pilot that will drop the bomb for you. Remember, money is not an issue! Place your diamond(s) at a location agreed with your pilot, and get a safe distance away. Give the signal to the airman, and he will release t
4. Atmosphere Layers This is the last idea on how to destroy a diamond. Go hitch a ride on any craft that will reach the ozone layer (i.e. space shuttle, unmanned NASA rocket, etc.). Once you reach the highest point possible, throw your diamonds into the air, and re-entry is sure to burn it up.
