How to Deodorize Your Kitchen

Sometimes, cooking odors can permeate the air and linger, like those from cooking potent smelling items such as fish, garlic or onion. There are quick and easy ways to get the stink out of the kitchen and freshen the air. Read on to learn how to deodorize your kitchen.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Cinnamon
  • Water
  • Cooking pot
  • Cast-iron pan
  • Parsley, rosemary or other herb(s)
  • Peppermint essential oil

Step1
Place water into a pan and add some dried cinnamon to the pot. Boil to erase odors.
Step2
"Cook" some herbs, such as parsley or rosemary, in a cast-iron pot. Cook on low for 3 to 5 minutes.
Step3
One a cotton cloth or cotton balls, place some peppermint essential oil. Place in a cabinet out of view.
