Changing the oil pump on a jeep wrangler can be difficult, but here is some info on how to do it.

Instructions

Difficulty: Challenging

Things You’ll Need:

  • replacement part
  • tripod
  • tools
Step1
engine lift Disconnect the battery, pull or lift the engine.
Step2
oil pan Drop the pan, make sure to watch how you do every step so to put everything back the way it goes.
Step3
oil pump Find the oil pump and replace it.
Step4
Installation is the same just in reverse order.

Tips & Warnings

  • Rushing can cause many mistakes, take time.
  • Make sure to have help
