How to Create an Online Art Gallery

Are you a starving artist wanting to make a web gallery for your images, but can't afford to pay for your own website? Check out this great solution!

Things You’ll Need:

• internet
• digital images of art work

1. First, you need to take good quality digital photos of your art work.
2. Head over the www.myartspace.com
3. Create a free account and then log on.
4. Click on the upload button at the top right hand corner of the screen. This will open up the Gallery Wizard. Type in the name you would like for your gallery in the box.
   *Remember you can create more than one gallery
5. You will then be taken to the uploading page. You can upload your images one at a time from your computer. And don't forget to fill in the information such as the Title, Medium, Dimensions, Date and Description. Then, below that information, you can add TAGS to your picture to make it more searchable.
6. Once all the information is filled in, click on the bottom right hand corner "Upload Next Image" and repeat until you have all your images in the gallery. When done, just click, "Finished Uploading Images".
7. Now you have to option of adding music to your gallery. You can select on of the music files, or upload your own MP3 music file.
8. To view your galleries, click the "Artist Profile" tab on the left hand side of the screen.
9. When viewing your artist profile, copy the web address bar and save it. Post that address as a signature on your emails, and on any othe rof your networking sites so that you can share your artwork.

Tips & Warnings

• If artwork is available for sale, leave a message in the description saying "FOR SALE please contact artist for details" and leave an email address or they could just message you through myartspace.com.
