How to Make homemade mayonaise

This article will tell you how to make great homemade mayo. It is better than any store bought.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 cups canola oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper
  • 1 Tbsp white vinegar
  • Blender
  • Container to store in
  1. Step 1

    Put large egg into blender and pulse until the egg is slightly blended.

  2. Step 2

    Add salt, pepper and vinegar. Start to blend on high and begin to drizzle oil in slowly. Continue until all of the oil is added.

  3. Step 3

    Continue to blend until the mixture begins to thicken. Once it has thicken, stop blending and remove mixture from blender.

  4. Step 4

    Refrigerate mixture for at least 1 hour. Now you may serve. Enjoy this easy made mayo.

Tips & Warnings
  • Try not to over blend
  • Make the egg is very cold when you start
  • Use good oil
