Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Your imagination
  • posts
  • Garden fence
  • Picket fence
  • Old screen door
  • Starter plants & seeds
  • Rake, hoe, watering hose
  • Weather proof odds n ends

Step1
Prepare the soil for your garden, make sure it is ready for planting before your erect your fence.
Dig holes for your posts, and plant them firmly in the ground.
Measure and center the posts in the front of garden to hang your screen door.
Step2
Hang the picket fence that goes in the front of the garden before you outline the sides and the back of your garden with the wire fence.
Make sure you allow at least two feet of walkway between fence and actual garden space.
Step3
Fashion a scarecrow out of old clothes and baggy jeans, they make a great focal point in your garden. I have one that watches over my onions however my focal point is a windmill. I also mix in plants and flowers throughout the garden a mix the vegetables.

Tips & Warnings

  • Have fun by adding as many favorite country whatnots throughout your garden
  • Old wooden chairs are great accents
  • Hanging signs are wonderful to hang on the picket fence
  • Hanging flower baskets add charm to any garden
