Does your salmon turn out chalky? Here are two sure fire ways to broil the perfect salmon

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • salmon fillets
  • toaster oven or regular oven
  • cooking spray
  • aluminum foil
  • your choice of seasonings
  1. Step 1

The first way that you can broil a perfect salmon is by using a toaster oven. Preheat the broiler. Line the broiler pan with non stick foil. Season the fish with salt & pepper and a squeeze of lemon or lime. Broil for 5 to 8 minutes depending on the thickness of the fish. It's fast and there's no pan to clean.

  2. Step 2

If you don't have a toaster oven. A conventional oven is the best way to go for great salmon.

  3. Step 3

Spray some cooking spray on aluminum foil. Put the fish on the aluminum with the spray on it, spray side up. Sprinkle some pepper, herbs, or whatever you like on the fish.

  4. Step 4

Wrap & seal the foil around the fish by pinching the edges of the aluminum together. Place in a preheated oven directly on the rack. Cook for 5-15 minutes depending on how hot your oven is. The salmon is done when it flakes with your fork. Remove it from oven, squeeze lemon juice over it. Enjoy.
