How to keep your children's clothes flame retardant after washing!

Do you ever worry about your children's sleep wear being flame resistant after it has been washed? You buy those special clothes for a reason don't you so that your child will not catch on fire in case of a house fire. This tip can save you a bundle and help you to prolong your child's clothes longer to it's original condition.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Phosphate detergent

Step1
Sort all like clothing together
Step2
Wash the child's clothes in a normal cycle of phosphate detergent only with no additives.
Step3
Fold clothes as normal.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you do use a non-phosphate detergent, make sure you add a cup of vinegar to the cold rinse water and allow garments to soak for 1/2 hour before starting the spin cycle.

on 5/2/2008 You need to look at the lable to find out which ones have no phosphates, it is really easy. Most of the time green stores have soaps without them they are on the web.
