You will learn the short process (“how to”) paragraph on your topic.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Remember that your paragraph must have a clear topic sentence and several supporting sentences. The concluding sentence is optional.

  2. Step 2

    Remember that your topic sentence must have a controlling idea – that is, it must not only name a topic but must also say something about the topic.

  3. Step 3

    Are there connecting words (transitions)? Here is a list of such words you could use:

    , first, second, third, fourth
