  • 8 slices of slightly stale French or Italian loaf bread, 1 inch thick
  • 4 eggs
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp. natural vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Non-stick skillet or frying pan
  • Butter for frying
