If you want to clear your complexion, extra vegetables and fruits to your diet will help cleanse your digestive system, lymphatic system and blood. It does not have to be a painful or complicated process.

For men and women on the go, here are some tips to incorporate extra essential fatty acids and antioxidant in your daily life, cleanse your body and get healthier skin.

Things You'll Need:

  • A blender or a food processor.
  • A knife
  • Vegetables: broccoli, kale, spinach, carrots
  • Fruits: orange, grapefruit, berries, banana
  • Olive oil
  • Nuts: Choose your favorite. walnut, almond,cashew, pine nut
  1. Step 1

    Juices

    Citrus contain antioxidant and Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA). Pleasant to drink, a citrus combination will give you boost of energy and a radiant glowing skin. Citrus juices with grapefruit, orange and lemon are best made fresh. You can combine orange, grapefruit and lemon to a proportion you like or use them on their own. It is totally up to your taste.

  2. Step 2

    Smoothie ..... loaded with extra vegetables and good taste! A snack or a lunch -

    Mix all ingredients in a blender. Add Maple syrup, black pepper or lime juice to taste.

    Top with nuts, sesame seeds, wheat germs, flax seeds for extra essential fatty acids.

    *** Banana, Spinach ***
    1 banana - 1/2 cup of raw spinach.

    **** Celery, Broccoli, Carrot ***
    1 celery stalk, 3 broccoli floret, 1 medium size carrot

    *** Tomato and Chard, Lime ***
    2 medium tomatoes, 1/2 cup of chard

  3. Step 3

    Salads ... Always a winner ... Add grilled salmon, hard boiled eggs or nuts for a full meal.

    Salads are a feast for the eye and for the skin. Loaded with fresh ingredients, rich in vitamins, salads are often the healthy choice.
    - Always keep in mind that dark green leaves have more nutrients than pale one.
    - Add freshly chopped parsley or basil for extra fresh nutrients and better taste.

    Quick and Easy Dressing Recipes.
    Store bought dressing are often rich in sugar and fats. Below are a few recipes for homemade dressings you can keep in your fridge for a up to 2 weeks.

    *** Orange and Rosemary Vinaigrette ***

    The juice of 1 orange, a tea spoon of chopped rosemary, 1/4 cup of cold pressed olive oil - Mix ingredients into the blender - Salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Step 6

    *** Berry Vinaigrette ***

    1/2 cup strawberries or raspberry or blueberry or a combination - 1/4 cup oil pressed olive oil - Mix in blender- Thin with berry juice if the dressing is to thick - Black pepper to taste.

  7. Step 7

    Spinach Pesto

    1/4 cups of your favorite unsalted nuts (walnut, cashew, hazelnut, pine nut) - 1/2 cup olive oil - 3 garlic cloves- Blend nuts and garlic first and then add cold presses olive oil- Salt and pepper to taste -
