How to make Barbecued Pork Loin

Who wouldn’t love the taste of barbecued pork for their Fourth of July weekend? Grill it off and enjoy.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed dry oregano
  • 1 minced clove garlic
  • 1-1/2 pounds lean pork tenderloins
  • 1 large sweet onion
  • vegetable oil

Step1
Combine chili powder, cumin, salt, oregano and garlic in small mixing bowl. Toss the mixture so that it is evenly distributed.
Step2
Cover the meat in the rub, pressing into surface. Arrange coals for indirect cooking.
Step3
Place meat on grill, cover and grill for 30 to 45 minutes. Spray onion slices with vegetable oil cooking spray and place on the grill rack over coals for the last 10 to 15 minutes of grilling time.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can add any other sort of vegetables by coating in spray and placing it along side for the last 15 minutes of cook time.
  • Never leave a lit grill unattended.
