1. First go to Craigslist.org and find your home city along the right hand border of the page. Select your city by clicking on it.

2. Next, you'll see the listings for Personals on the left side of the page. Select what category you would fall into. Are you searching for a friend or a life partner? Select the category of relationship you are looking for and click.

3. Read the disclaimer and then start browsing the ads. You can also focus your search by inputting the age range that you are seeking.

4. Ready to post your own ad? Click on the blue "Post" link at the top right corner of the page and select your category.

5. Type in your ad and wait for the emails to come in. Be sure to be specific about what you are looking for and to always be safe when dating online. Do not give out personal information right away and meet in a safe public place.
