How to Warp an Object in Adobe Illustrator

Things You’ll Need:

• Computer
• Adobe Illustrator
• Open Illustrator document

1. Make a shape with the shape tool. Be sure to have a stroke selected so that your image will show up on the screen.
2. With your shape selected, click on object/envelope distort/ make with warp.
3. Choose the warp shape from the pull-down menu in the dialog box. Then you can adjust the bend and distortion using the sliders below.
4. Adjust the bend and distortion using the sliders in the dialog box.
5. Hit OK, and your object is warped.
