Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Open Illustrator document
  1. Step 1

Draw any shape in your Illustrator document (this shape is just for practice).

  2. Step 2

Select the hand tool from the toolbar. Sometimes the hand tool temporarily hides behind the page tool.

  3. Step 3

Hold down your left mouse button, and "move" the page to the right or left, up or down.

  4. Step 4

Open up your navigator panel (window/navigator). The navigator panel is like a little monitor of where you are in your document in terms of view. Between the hand tool and the navigator panel, you can always know where you are in your document.
