How to Get the Scarab Gun in Halo 2

The Scarab gun in Halo 2 is the most powerful weapon in the game. It has the ability to kill all enemies with just one shot. If you are having trouble making progress in the game or just want to increase the strength of your arsenal, then consider making an attempt to get this handy weapon.

Instructions

1. Go to the Metropolis level and kill all of the marines in sight. The marines' main job is to make it difficult for you to move forward.

2. Move to the tunnel entrance and kill everybody but the banshees. Grab a plasma rifle from any dead elite, which is usually next to or near any dead ghost.

3. Head toward the tunnel and shoot the banshees with your rifle. Once they see you, run backward into the tunnel. Be sure to move backward so you can see the banshee and keep its attention on you. If the banshee turns away, shoot at it to get its attention to keep luring it into the tunnel.

4. Watch for the warthog that pops out in the tunnel. The banshee will chase the warthog. Throw grenades at any marines you encounter.

5. Lure the banshee until you reach the sewer entrance, killing all enemies along the way. Shoot the banshee's wings off when you are at the sewer entrance. This is necessary to make sure the banshee fits in the sewer.

6. Position yourself in front of the tunnel that leads to the next area. The banshee pushes you. Hijack the banshee and fly it out of the area.

7. Fly the banshee up as high as it will go. There are two bridges that connect buildings. Fly to the closest bridge and land on it. There is a plasma rifle floating above a traffic cone. When you get this rifle, also known as the Scarab, you will have the most powerful weapon in Halo 2.
