The wireless age is full of little tricks of the trade that allow us to operate our business more efficiently. One of those tricks is to save sent messages from your Blackberry. This way you can always recall information at a later date, no matter how many messages you've sent in the meantime. Here's how to save sent Blackberry messages.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Blackberry with active account
  • Additional email address
  1. Step 1

Sign in to your Blackberry account using your login and password.

  2. Step 2

Go to the navigation bar (found at the top of your screen) and click on "Profile."

  3. Step 3

Click on "Auto BCC." This means that your Blackberry will automatically blind carbon copy every single message that you send.

  4. Step 4

Put another one of your personal email addresses into that field. Gmail has a particularly large memory.

  5. Step 5

Hit the "Save" button after you have entered that email address.

  6. Step 6

Send messages as you normally would from your Blackberry.

  7. Step 7

Check your secondary email to make sure that you are receiving the messages and that they have saved correctly.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make a separate folder on your secondary email which will receive all of these back-up messages. That way you won't be overrun with messages in your personal email.
  • Consider adding a filter to your personal email so that only blackberry messages can get through. This will rid you of that annoying junk mail.
  • Remember that once email is sent, it's forever. So be very careful what you say. It can be used "for" or "against" you.
