If you are sitting at home on a Saturday night, just like your friends, there is a great way that you can interact and keep yourself and your buddies entertained. A stay awake competition can be a fun way to use your cell phone and motivation to keep your eyes wide open while watching Saturday night TV.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Be spontaneous. You cannot plan a stay awake competition in advance, as you and your friends can easily cheat by taking a nap earlier in the day. It is best to start the competition at or after 9 p.m. to eliminate the opportunity for cat-naps.
Step2
Send an text message to your friends using your cellphone and gather as many participants as you can. Set regular intervals in which your friends text to prove they are still awake. The best way is to create a circular text, so that each participant texts the next participant. Even if someone falls asleep, the cellphones will keep a record of the times the texts were sent, so compare your phones the next day.
Step3
Select a prize for your stay awake competition. Maybe the winner gets cash, free lunch, a gift card for coffee or a new CD. The prize will depend on the number of participants and how much money each person wants to put in.
Step4
Prepare to win the competition by staying awake the longest. Watch the clock so that you don't miss the call in time, and watch TV., movies or find another way to keep yourself busy so that you don't fall asleep.
