How to Keep in Touch with a Crush

If you have a crush that lives far away or attends a different school, you may feel as though you’ll never get together. However, when you make an effort to keep in touch, you should have no problem turning your crush into a long-distance relationship.

1. Decide if it’s worth the effort. If you met the crush while on vacation, you may want to think of it as a fling and not worth pursuing.
2. Ask her for her email address. If she has email, you can easily write her or give her your email and ask her to contact you first.
3. Find out if he has a MySpace or Facebook account. If your crush has a page online, you can message him through his profile page. Contact him and see if he responds back to you.
4. Exchange cell phone numbers. If your crush gives you her cell number, you can either call her or text her often. Text messaging can cost a lot of money; if you plan to keep in touch this way, you should look into getting a text plan.
5. Make an effort to meet. For example, if your schools ever play games against each other, meet up at the match.
